Granite is an appropriate material to use for a seer stone because it is symbolic of the Holy Trinity. Just as the Father, Son, Holy Ghost are one, so are Quartz, Feldspar, and Mica one in a piece of granite. Three distinct and separate manifestations, all rolled into one essence.
Granite represents the ultimate of perfection. Three crystalline forms interacting with each other with the perfect set of crystalline balance. The electrical fire of the Quartz being channeled by the Feldspar, and contained by the Mica.
Our whole modern electronic age is based on the electrical fire of Quartz, being contained by the stability of Mica. Somehow, our modern electronic wizards have forgotten the Christianizing influence of Feldspar.
Granite is formed deep inside the Earth, where fire purifies and cleanses it of impurities. When granite makes it's way to the surface, it still caries within it, the tingling sensation and energy of it's fiery birthplace. No stone represents perfections better than does granite.
